Super Short Food Review -- Toaster Box

I know this food review might be a lil' too short....
but who cares, I just wanna share some good food here :D

Toast Box @ 1utama

Okay so went to 1u Last Friday for my weekly "hang gai' session with Vince aka my cousin. She haven't had her lunch yet so we went to this Toast Box, which is located at the 2nd floor. Yes I know, Toast Box was there forever but I haven't try food from there, because I haven't been to ou for like at least 2 months, yea, since college started, no more shopping T.T Anyways, I had my lunch so I didn't order anything, whereas her, instead of ordering toast, she ordered a Lontong.  Which is a smart choice hehehee *Digi-wink*

Lontong -- RM 6.80

 

I never know Lontong existed, sorry sorry, I know I sucked as a Malaysian. But Good thing that I discovered this awesome dish man... Love it Love it!!! That's why I love and hate Malaysia, so much awesome good food to eat but end up making me so fat haha :D

Anyways, yea according to Wikipedia, Lontong is an Asian dish made of compressed rice wrapped inside banana leaf that is then cut into small cakes as staple food replacement of steamed rice. I'm grateful to whoever that invented this, it's so yummy weih. The curry taste so good, it's kinda spicy the taste and the scent is just soo goooood!! *Thumbsup* I can't really explain how good it is, so just go try larr, Lontong at Toast Box.

Usually those traditional food like, nasi lemak and rojak, that is served in all these cafe's are not that nice compare to those homemade ones. But surprisingly, this Lontong from Toast Box taste really really good!! I'm now a fan of it, I'm gonna eat again next week!!!!!

Anyways, this Toast Box is yet another awesome yumcha spot la. There are other food choices as well, like toasts, eggs, noodles and so on. The place is also not that noisy, and it's between the shops, so you can just sit there, and look around and stare at people. Well that's what I like to do :D

Needs Motivation to Play the Piano -- MPYO

Orchestra Buddies :D

Short Update : Went to the MPYO's (Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra) Chamber Concert on Monday with my darling high school buddies!!

This was my second time watching the MPYO's Chamber concert, last time was in 2009. And I remember how crazy I was back then after watching the performance. I played the piano a lot and I passed my exams that year!!
So I knew I had to go to this Concert, I definitely needed some motivation....

 

And I definitely needed to meet up with my old friends ;)

 

The performance was great! The pieces were really beautiful and awesome. Especially the ones that involved Piano hehee.... and also Clarinet. I miss playing clarinet man....  Miss those days in the band...
Anyways, here's a list :

Oh erm, this is the 1st time I see a Harp Performance in Orchestra

Harp is just.....beautiful. The melody and the tone is just nice :D

yea as usual, their final piece was something fun.

the piece just translate the different situations in different vehicles into music. I can really SEE A PICTURE when they were playing, it's just awesome!!

Yea I guess the orchestra really did motivate me, all the musicians who performed were great and looking at them makes me feel that I suck in music. But they will definitely be role models to me. Wish i could be like them :D I played the piano for 2 hours in the morning, I guess that's a good thing right? since usually I can never sit in front of a piano for more than 10 minutes... 

One and a half week of hols gone.....

I was working last weekend in Tesco as promoter, selling carnation milk.

My AwesomE supervisor didn't tell me that I had to cook!!

But thanks to mommy's advice, I manage to cook yummy omelets :D

I am really broke now, so I might be working again this coming weekend....

but before that, I guess I have to stick to my piano 1st.... GTG ByE!!

Whenever people ask me how's college? I use to answer in a pathetic tone, "Super a lot of work, damn tiring, seriously can die!" But now, i should add something : "I have super a lot of work, damn tiring, seriously can die, but still I SURVIVED!!! :D " And honestly I find myself having a good time when I'm telling people about what happened in my college, people in my college, projects in college....it's been only 2 months but I felt like I can talk for years about the experiences in this period of time =)

Yea, I LOVE THIS LIFE, and the idea that this college life will end in one year simply makes me sad....

anyways....I will treasure every moment, every people and every homework from now on :D

Movie Review : Fast Five

It's been a while since my last movie review...
There weren't much anticipated movies in the last few months until recently...
All the awesome movies are coming up soon!! such as Pirates of Caribbean, Kungfu Panda, then later got Harry Potter, Transformers, X-Men etc etc
But before all those come into cinemas, one of the best films of the year arrives first!!!

Watched this movie with my college friends Last Friday at TimeSquare =)

FAST FIVE aka Fast and Furious 5

I think many people can't wait, instead of summer, it's already in cinemas NOW!!

NO DOUBT this is the best movie in the whole Fast&Furious series....

apparently, this is the first movie where they decided to adapt the series into an action film instead of just car-racing film. This was indeed a smart choice, LOVED the story line and the action packed scenes in the movie. Some people thought it was over-the-top, but I thought this is exactly why it is called a movie, to watch things that are impossible in life!! I really love movies like this that talk about Good Bad-Guys =)

 Synopsis:

 Former cop Brian O'Conner partners with ex-con Dom Toretto on the opposite side of the law. Since Brian and Mia Toretto broke Dom out of custody, they've blown across many borders to elude authorities. Now backed into a corner in Rio de Janeiro, they must pull one last job in order to gain their freedom. As they assemble their elite team of top racers, the unlikely allies know their only shot of getting out for good means confronting the corrupt businessman who wants them dead. But he's not the only one on their tail. Hard-nosed federal agent Luke Hobbs never misses his target. When he is assigned to track down Dom and Brian, he and his strike team launch an all-out assault to capture them. But as his men tear through Brazil, Hobbs learns he can't separate the good guys from the bad. Now, he must rely on his instincts to corner his prey... before someone else runs them down first.

 Review : 

Basically, it was AWESOME!!! Really! I watched the 1st and the 4th movie before, it wasn't that interesting to me, so I didn't expect much on this one. But after hearing all the good comments from people around me, it seems like this movie is something that shouldn't be missed. And yes, this one didn't disappoint me. The story line was very interesting, the scenes are well shot. Rio was definitely the perfect setting for this film. Then the action scenes were awesome as well, from chasing to fighting to shooting, then racing to car-crashing......everything was REAL and SUPER COOL. I forgot how many times did i say "woa, super YENG" while watching the movie. 

And of course, The Cast was the best part. It's the best thing to gather all the people from the past F&F movies. With all these characters, the movie was way cooler!! and also funnier!! especially Rico and Tego!

and it's also better that Brian is not a cop anymore. It's great to see both Brian and Dom work together as one without any fights. The Rock's character, Hobbs also made the story better, the rivalry between them was just....*Thumbs Up* hehe...

I think the BEST THING about the movie is that they made this movie an action film but at the same time they didn't forget about the CARS... though there weren't much racing scenes, but I like how they relate the story with cars, like from the beginning, where the chip is installed in a car, and then they raced in Rio to get better cars plus they played with police cars and finally they robbed the whole metal safe vault with two 2010 Dodge Chargers SRT!! Which was Brilliant!!

Yea there's still a lot to talk about...

Just go watch it, and you'll know what I wanna say hehe..

Yea, I'm now a big fan of Fast Five!!

Yea, college life is real hectic....There's home works that never seem to stop piling up....then presentation + test + lab reports and bla bla bla...
So basically I'm a lifeless person with a whole lot of stuff to do...
