Sick Sunday

Everyone was kinda sick today
I still have endless phlegm in my throat.
My parents have light flu
but it was enough to make them go frustrated and totally irritable for the entire day!!
I asked to go for MPH's book fest but they weren't in a good mood
and it was raining so they just ignored me....
and I was pretty upset coz i really wanted to buy some books
but now, i'm not anymore
coz i just know that
There will be a Big Bad Wolf Books Sale
many had been anticipating this sale
the books will be cheaper than MPH's sale......

So I was stucked in the house today
and finished watching Rosy Business this morning
and Oh my God, this Hong Kong series is one of the best I had ever seen
The story is really interesting and everything was so close to our daily lives
though the setting is in the Ching Dynasty
but all the conflicts still happened in these modern days.....
The problems between boss and employees, horrible government "ministers", business challenges, humanity and money....bla bla bla....
It's really awesome....

I was bored and looking for sumthin to do
So.....i decided to paint my nails
I had been pretty lazy bout it
but I really had nothing to do
so why not paint my kinda-discolored-toe-and-finger-nails
Choosing the color....
I actually read this page in a magazine when i was in a clinic (got serious flu that day)
and I snap this page down as reference since i actually have similar nail colors
so I'm basically going towards Modern Romantic style for this holiday......=)

I chose the nude pink(SkinFood) for my finger nails
since i don't like to see crazy colors while i'm playing my piano
and the deep purple(EtudeHouse) for my toenails
coz this fall-winter season's color is PURPLE!!

Bye Bye Form 4.....

Last day of Form 4......there goes a year....in a blink of an eye
Thank God for giving me awesome classmates!!!!

But today was a bit boring to me,
coz my loupo not here, bao sook not here, Ching, Audrey, Miu, Fiona........all not here

Defrozing My Blog!! The Blogging season is here!

Yeap yeap, I'm officially Back to BLOGGING!!
Yes, it's the holiday season,
which also means, Jiawen's Blogging Season
My blog has been frozen for like 8 months i think,
the last post was in the beginning of March...
I think i won't have much things to do in the hols
since I'm not working
so I'll probably spend my time on blogging
and I'll probably blog about my holidays-to-do-list
yes i have quita a long list
there will be at least 20 posts if I fulfilled everything on the list...
so yeap....

Loud 09' - Louder and Ever

My blog had been frozen for 4 months,
and now i would like to defrost it
by sharing a wonderful experience......

It's Loud Concert 09'
Living Out Ur Destiny*
It was LoudeR this year.....
I think the crowd was two times larger than last year's.
Just like every year, it was fun, super fun.
And it was also my annual general meeting with God and Jesus.

Esther. Thank you for inviting me to this event for these 3 years.
This event means a lot to me. Love ya!

I went there at 6.45pm.
I know there were food, indie bands and games going on at the sports center, just like the previous years.
But I wasn't so into these things (except Nintendo Wii), so I decided to catch the concert only, which is the main spotlight of this event.
Anyway, I bought a sandwich which is costs 2 bucks only, and it tastes good =).
I met up with my friends, took a picture at the main entrance and submitted my invitation for the lucky draw.
Then, it was almost 7.00pm.
Right outside of the auditorium was flooded with people.
I bet everyone was excited, so was I.
Then they were giving out pom-pom sticks.
I got a purple one for myself =)
Then the crowd was shouting and yelling (very LOUD) when the auditorium entrance was opened.
Everyone took their seats, and i chose to sit on the floor right in front of the stage.

Countdown to L.O.U.D!!

L.O.U.D Concert - Let's get Loud!!

A clip with all the backstage and practice footage was played. I know all the organizing committee and performers must have work very very hard for this concert to happen.
And the day for them to shine arrived.
The Junkyard Invaders Kicked-start the evening!
It was an awesome performance! These guys did a really great job. Very synchronized and they were picking up the beat of the night!!
You guys rocked.

Then there was the cheerleading performance from Elite All Stars.
Well they had been really cheerful and vibrant, and some of the stunts were really breathtaking. They seemed to get shaky and unstable sometimes, but Thank God, no accidents happened and I thought they had put on a good show.

Next, The Real Ink Crew.
They started off with a contemporary dance with a beautiful background music (I don't know what song is that) that worships God and Jesus. I know the two dancers danced with their full heart.Another vibrant and energetic performance.
