Dotting the full stop of My High School Life

Yesterday was really a sad day.....
no no.... it was a BEAUTIFULLY SAD DAY....
I cant believe time passed so swiftly and yesterday was my last school day in High School...
well we didn't have Graduation Ceremony (i wonder why)
All of us were sooooo reluctant to accept the fact that we're not gonna experience what we've experience in this passed 5 years anymore, never...

I wasn't expecting myself to cry, but when my class teacher started saying things like how much she loved us, how much she like teaching us, at that moment, it really hit me that I'm so gonna miss all these wonderful things that happened in my life...

Especially My Awesome Friends....


I wasn't expecting to take loads of photo, so I brought my compact camera(which I didn't charge) just in case, to take a few photos of our class only....

but damn it, wished I brought the DSLR, really want loads of photos with all my friends....

anyways, the battery managed to last until our class took our final still-wearing-uniform shot...

5 BungaRaya is the best class...

I really really Thank God that I'm in this class, everyone of us is just.....BRilliant!!

and They are not just classmates, they are FRIENDS

Went back to hometown for my grandfather's (sort-of) memorial...
as usual, had to deal with loads of smoke from the incense sticks
but at least it's the last time =)
and my cousins officially BUKA PUASA edi - okay, not buka puasa, "buka vegetarian" would be the right word - after 7x7 = 49 days of vegetarian lifestyle
yea....ate loads of good food, gonna be super super fat....

Well 28th of OCT was my little cousin sister's bday
and there was Chocolate Cake -- FAT

Then the next night, went to this uber cool Chinese Restaurant call Peking Restaurant

The food was like super nice

we ate Peking Duck, some kind of Pork Ribs, Tofu and lotz more......it's just super delicious....and and...FAT

公公, 你离开至今也有差不多50多天了,
但不知道为什么, 我好像还是无法放开你,
可能我还是不能接受你已经离开我们的事实。
记得上个星期三回婆婆家，
习惯性地和舅舅舅母们打招呼后，
就在往婆婆坐着的饭厅前进时，
我看到你在电话旁的椅子上坐着，向我微笑，
当时真的有被吓到，
后来再看一次，原来是那张在你的祭坛旁，套上了你的衣服的椅子。
当时我以为自己疯了，但是回想一下，
你的笑容真的很灿烂，好像是在欢迎我回来，
原本觉得这次回家是毫无意义的我，顺间觉得你就在我们身边，
而且很高兴看到我们一家人回来。

我还记得，向婆婆打招呼时，婆婆冷冷的回了一声，
就这样，我看出了婆婆脸上的憔悴，
看来婆婆到现在都未曾放下你。
听阿姨说，婆婆最近动不动就会发脾气，
老是说着你走之后，他任何事都不会做了，
晚上更是会在房里哭泣，
也常常会责怪自己为什么没有好好照顾你的健康，
更常常叹息你怎么会那么年轻就离开，
依我看，婆婆时时刻刻都还在想念着你，心里充满着思念，愧疚，遗憾和打击。


不过坦白说，公公你也走得太突然了吧？
你也够狠心的，一声不响的就走了。
我记得婆婆刚从我们家回到你家才不到一天，原本以为一切风平浪静，没想到你就在当晚悄悄地走了，不吓到我们才怪！
当爸爸对我说你已经去世时，我，除了泪水之外，一切都瞬间静止了。
真的，真的，我的心马上停顿了一下下。
心里想说，这怎么可能？
爸爸你在说什么？
怎么可能？  明明前两天才和你通过电话，
你还问我妈妈和婆婆去了哪里，
你的声音和我之前所听到的一样洪亮，
哪来什么问题...... 但是为什么？
为什么你要走？

很多亲戚都说，你这样在睡梦中离开是很有福气的。
我也非常相信，我知道你是一个很棒的人，很疼爱儿女和孙子们。
我知道你会早起，叫你的宝贝孙起床，
也会帮阿姨买早餐，也会到菜市场买菜......
还有还有，我知道你很酷，
最爱看新加坡Channel 5的英文戏，从中学习英文，
听说你也有看Fringe，公公你真是太酷啦！
真可惜我们没机会一起观看和讨论剧情。


记得两个星期前大舅舅说要和我们一家人吃饭，
当时我还傻到以为你会和我们一起吃饭，
后来想到自己再也没有机会和你吃饭，
心里真的，真的很难受，
还偷偷地哭了......
我也常想到，你不能来参加哥哥和我的毕业典礼了。
记得那天是我第一次看到你穿西装大衣的样子，
虽然是躺在棺木里，但是觉得你超帅的，
心里更想像着你披着大衣来参加我们的大学毕业典礼，订婚仪式和教堂婚礼的样子。
但这一切是不可能了。

但我想，我现在应该放下你了，
我会永远都想念你哦！
也希望你现在能好好地休息！

不过，现在我真的很担心婆婆。
婆婆这样下去不是办法啊！
我记得那天和婆婆一起看电视节目，
是一个美食节目，正介绍着高雄的打狗饼。
做打狗饼的老板娘失去了他的孩子，（老板娘是个单亲妈妈）
老板娘也是非常伤心，
后来他的孩子托梦给她，要她学做打狗饼，然后分给单亲家庭的小孩吃，
同时也叫老板娘不要为他伤心，要打起精神做人。
婆婆看了之后，眼泪马上留了下来，
在一旁的我也不知道如何是好。

所以说，公公，你也要帮帮忙，
让婆婆振作起来，勇敢地活下去。
希望你也能像老板娘的孩子一样鼓励他，
把她心里的遗憾和悲伤都带走。
真的很想看到婆婆再次微笑，也希望他能够安稳的入眠。

我又想到一件事，
我记得你每次见到我，都不会叫我的华文名字，
而是叫我Carmen Choong
现在想想，我很久都没用这个从小就存在的英文名了。
好吧，今天是我17岁生日，那么从今天起，我就是Carmen Choong Jia Wen 了。 哈哈！
那以后别人叫我的名字时，我都不会忘记这是你曾经称呼我的名字！

Went there to study sejarah. Things were going well at first but I started yawning after less than 2 hours. The sofa was like saying "sleep on me" and I really was gonna "fall for it".

The wi-fi in starbucks is actually pretty useful when you're studying lol!

Mentos in SourMix is something to keep you awake when your eye lids are heavy...

Despite the awesome environment, I think I wont be able to study in Starbucks that often.

Afterall I'm just a student, no point spending money on a cup of coffee that can actually buy you 2 model papers. =)

Fullhouse @ Sunway Pyramid Review.....

Oh Gosh that place is just so pretty!!

Went Fullhouse Lifestyle Store and Cafe @ Sunway Pyramid on Sat
well we wanted to have Sushi Zanmai for dinner but let me tell you it's impossible to get a seat without waiting for more than half an hour.
So went to Fullhouse and OMG that place looked so welcoming!!
It's a really pretty place to have a meal with your besties or your loved ones.

The interior is really really sweet and heartwarming.
It's basically all white in color, with those pretty chandeliers and warm lamps around.
Yea i think they are following the home-sweet-home concept.

well I didn't know what's their special dish so I just ordered the basic - Pasta
oh I should mention their menu as well, it's like a mini magazine and it's just sooo adorable.

Honeydew Drink - RM 7.90

Vince ordered this, nothing special.

Taste exactly like the RM3 bubble tea.

It's just the jug and the spoon (the wineglass one) that was cute.

But of course it's in a bigger quantity compared to RM3 bubble tea.

Took us more than an hour just to finish the drinks.

Passion fruit Green Tea - RM 4.90

I totally love this!! 

I really love green tea and this drink added a bit of twist to my fave drink and it tastes so much better. 

And it goes well with my spaghetti!

Really recommend this!!!!

My "Al-Funghi Spaghetti" - RM 14.90

It's mushrooms spaghetti la. Love mushrooms so I totally love this dish. It's butter based so the scent and flavor is pretty heavy.The smell of oyster mushroom was super strong and they added black pepper and chopped green chillies, so it's slightly spicy. <3 <3 <3

Vince's "Rosella Spaghetti" - RM 16.90

Tomato based. It tastes like seafood chowder to me. The spaghetti wasn't too hard or too soft, very nice to chew lol!! And there's sweet and yummy prawns too!! Love it!

One thing that I really like about this place is that you don't really have to wait long for the food but the food still taste nice. I know the price is slightly higher but honestly, who won't pay to eat yummy food in this beautiful and sweet environment. And it's like the best place to chit chat with your friends so we spent more than an hour just sitting there and chat and finish up our drink.

And another good thing - Awesome place to camwhore

Tried the orange pad on my cheeks and cucumber pads on my eyes. 

I was gonna put them in my mouth coz they look so adorable!!

My 1st Scholarship Interview

hmm.....short update here....
Went to Sunway's A-level scholarship interview today...
well it was better than i thought
the interviewer was really nice as in she nods and says "yes yes....yes" at basically everything you said....
though i know deep down in my heart that whatever-i-was-saying was nothing but crap
but it was a good experience after all
I think I should have spoke in a more confident way
She asked me about
1. my family background
2. why on earth i chose sunway
3. what would i do if i didn't get the scholarship
4. what did i learned from my ECA's
5. what are my responsibilities as a commitee
6. why i want to be a pharmacist
etc etc etc.....

oh there was this case study as well where they gave a news article to study for 15 min
My case was the fighting videos uploaded on Youtube



I couldn't get the exact video(which is uploaded by SMK Green Road, title : Green Road Fights).....
just imagine something which is 100 times worst than this....
yea the lady asked me what would I do if I'm the principal of this school...
i crapped all my answers lol!!

anyways....it was okay
and i really thank Sunway Uni College for their goodie bag which has a water tumbler
and OMG the it is in blue!!!!!! My fave color.
I lost my Nike blue bottle long time ago and hadn't buy a bottle for months and now i have a bottle
no.... A BLUE BOTTLE FOR FREE!!!!!

I'm back!!

Hey I'm back!!!!! The last time I blog was 12 of Sept 2010
and today... *looks at the calendar* is 9th of October...
wow.....didn't blog for almost a month
and I mus tell you that IT KILLS ME to not BLOG....
plus all the series of events that happened in this month....
I really needed to SHOUT OUT....
Thank God exams are over (though I literally screwed them up)
well just gonna briefly shout out what happened in this 27 days...

Well there was holidays....
I allowed myself to relax on the first week
plus my Grandma and my grandaunt's family came
went shopping and played with my 7-years-old-but-speaks-like-a-17-years-old cousin sister...
yea.....other than that nothing much happened....

On Sunday, I told myself I MUST START STUDYING FROM TOMORROW ONWARDS
and the next day...My grandfather passed away....
I should add "SUDDENLY" behind the sentence....
yea.....went back to Johor
that week was really........sad...down...weird....
I don't know....it's just excruciating....
so did all the Buddhism and Taoism rituals...
and went home on Sat....

That's what you get after kneeling on the ground for hours....

If I die, I would never want my family to endure this...

We went back to Senai

An industrial area, nothing much to eat...

so went to this Old-Town-Kopitiam-look-alike coffee shop for two days...

It's called CAWAN....lol!!

We stayed in a really pretty condo

it has a really really nice view...

really wanted to stay there forever....

BACK TO SCHOOL

Finished getting all the signatures from the teacher for out Sijil Berhenti etc etc

I didn't have any Black Pen so I used this one

so pretty right?? My mother's friend bought it from Thailand....lol

Then mid-autumn festival came

Mommy bought a lot of mooncakes from WingSheng

Egg Yolk Pies are the BEST!!!!

Funny, since when little nyonya replaced Chang E as the ambassador of moon cakes

My grandaunt gave us this Sushi Mochi

it's damn delicious LOL!!

I'm quite sure that my weight is now %*@6$^%  times heavier after all these awesome (yet super fattening) moon cakes

The next day.... Exam starts...

I really didn't know how I studied throughout the exam....

all I know was they are all LAST-SECOND JOB

yea....I'm very sure that I sucked in every subject....

Now all I can do is hope...

But it's over now....stop bothering about it

My grandma gave me this Super Cafe Nova which is sugar free

it's super nice but the sad thing is you can't buy it in M'sia but only Singapore...
